180 East were working to raise the profile of Hawthorn’s Gin in the American market.
“We knew a Gold Medal at the most prestigious spirits competition in the world, (2016 San Fransisco World Spirits Competition) could improve product sales and give us a competitive edge.”
After entering the 2016 competition and 4 days of rigorous blind tastings Hawthorn’s was awarded gold and out performed most major competitors who took silver, bronze or came away empty handed.
“Thrilled with our achievement we wanted to share the news. We put the word out on social media immediately and started looking for a way to promote this at points of sale too. After some searching we came across Whitney Woods’s selection of bottle neck promotional pieces.”
